Pregnancy

Feel strong and supported through pregnancy.

Pregnancy changes everything, from how you stand to how you breathe. Pelvic PT can ease back, hip, and pelvic girdle pain, help you prepare your body for birth, and teach you pushing and breathing strategies so you walk into labor feeling ready.

Postpartum

Six weeks is a checkup, not a finish line.

Whether you had a vaginal birth or a C-section, your body did something remarkable. Postpartum pelvic PT helps you rebuild core and pelvic floor strength, heal your scar, address leaking or heaviness, and get back to lifting your kids, exercising, and intimacy with confidence.

It’s never too late. Postpartum care helps whether you gave birth 6 weeks or 16 years ago.

Bladder health

Stop planning your day around the bathroom.

Leaking, sudden urges, and frequent nighttime trips are common, but they’re not something you have to accept. Pelvic PT addresses the muscles, habits, and pressure patterns behind bladder symptoms.

Bowel & gut health — an area of special depth at Haven

Constipation that won’t budge might not be about fiber.

If you’ve tried every supplement and still strain, feel like you can’t fully empty, or deal with ongoing bloating and discomfort, your pelvic floor may be part of the problem. Sometimes the muscles that should relax during a bowel movement tighten instead, a pattern called pelvic floor dyssynergia. It’s very treatable, and it’s often missed.

Jess has deep clinical experience with bowel-related pelvic floor dysfunction — an area many patients never get proper help with. Read her article on constipation and the pelvic floor →

Pelvic & sexual pain

Pain is not the price of intimacy.

Pain with sex, tampons, exams, or sitting is real, and you deserve care that takes it seriously. We go at your pace, starting wherever feels safe, and treatment is always your choice.

An internal exam is never required — here’s exactly how a first visit works, including the external-only and talk-only paths.

Perimenopause & menopause

Hormones change. Your strength doesn’t have to.

Shifting estrogen affects your bladder, pelvic tissues, bones, and muscles. Pelvic PT helps you manage leaking, pressure, dryness-related discomfort, and joint changes so you can stay active and confident in this next chapter.

Active women & return to sport

Run, jump, and lift without leaking.

Leaking during double-unders or runs is common in athletes, but it’s a sign your system needs support, not a badge of honor. We’ll train your pelvic floor to keep up with the rest of you — built on Jess’s ten-plus years of orthopedic practice.

The tools behind whole-body care

No tool is ever the plan by itself — each is chosen when it serves yours, explained first, and used only with your consent.

Dry needling

Jess is certified in dry needling (Cert. DN) — fine filament needles used to release stubborn muscle tension and trigger points that hands alone can’t reach.

Manual therapy

Skilled hands-on treatment — joint and soft-tissue work, always explained as it happens, always paired with movement so improvements hold.

RedCord suspension therapy

A rope-and-sling system that supports your body weight so deep stabilizing muscles can work precisely, without pain or compensation. Gentle enough for early postpartum, exacting enough for athletes.

Cupping

A decompression technique that lifts and mobilizes soft tissue — used to ease tension, improve mobility, and help stubborn areas move freely again.
